Ava Sterling

Ava Sterling covers the mathematics side of this site: what RTP is, how volatility shapes a session, and how a progressive pool is funded out of the same declared return. The subject rewards precision, because almost every claim in it can be checked against something a studio has published — and almost none of it can be checked by playing.

Earlier versions of her articles carried figures no source supported: slots named with an RTP and a maximum win that no catalogue listed, jackpot seeds to the dollar, an “average time to hit”, and win-rate boosts by hour of the night. Those have been removed and each retraction is printed on the page itself rather than quietly edited away.
